General announcements
• Darfur- signing paper plates to show support for action in darfur.
• Nick Cerabino wants the brains of David Krane and Justin Speed. Their days are numbered,
• Open a prayer and meditation room to allow those that don’t have private prayer space.
o Motion to allocate a room in ham for open spiritual use.
o Majority of towne meeting approves with abstentions and “nays”
• John Witte Mountain goats
o The Mountain goats are playing this Saturday in sudakoff. Along with some pre-shows in ham. Get wristbands for the Mountain Goats in student affairs.
o Open Mic next Thursday in the writing resource center
o Rio thinks Iron Maiden Rules. John Witte thinks that song “Trooper” rules.
• Bike Registration
o Call 4210 from on-campus to get the campus police
o Crime is going up on campus. Nothing violent yet.

Housing
• Wendy Bashant Dean of students
o Dean update in residence hall update
o Liquidated damages: what happens if the new dorms don’t get built.
o Donita and Wendy are in the 4 winds and the fishbowl to discuss housing issues.
• RD roll definition committee
o Subject the RD program to a 1 year review
o Representative from each year.
Presidential speeches- Gustavo Andre Gomez
1st year and 4th year SAC position petition periods have been extended because no one has turned anything in.
• Max Ferretti introducing Anthony Circharo and Isaac Duer
o Integrity and honor.
o They have what it takes to be presidentssssss
o They’re good enough, smart enough and god damnit, people like them.
• Isaac is always really impressed by how many people take their time to attend the towne meeting.
• Anthony always been oppressed by the amount of action and responsibility on this campus
• Our job in the NCSA should make it easy to get students to talk to administration.
• NCSA needs to talk and interact with the entire student body.
• One of their main goals would be to get student government out doing fun and informative things with everybody
• The institutions that are put in place today, will shape the future.
• Questions
o Signs: Isaac is a Piscese and Anthony is a Leo
o Is Isaac bringing back his presidential promises of last year? (Lazy river and zip line to college hall.)
o Considering the mockery of your presidential candidacy last year, why should we take you (Isaac) seriously this year. I Didn’t think I could be president last year, but I believe I can this year. Wants to introduce a lot of his ideas.
o Have you accepted Jesus Christ into your life. He’s not missing.
• Nicholas Cerabino introducing David Banks
o Compared to Brian Cody and Harry Potter
o Really done a lot for the community.
• Didn’t have a very inspired beginning. But says a lot that he’s now running for president.
• What kind of New College do you want to have? What kind of culture do we want at New College
• Wants to talk to a lot of students all the time to get a lot of opinions.
• Consolidate all opinions and bring it to the table. Measured and intelligent conversation between the students and everyone we have a dialogue with.
• Chad Bickerton introducing Naushwan Hafeez
o He’s a good intellectual. Shaped Chad’s new college life and encouraged him to grow facial hair.
• In the same boat as Isaac and Anthony: wasn’t really planning on running.
• Housing is a big problem. Everyone should be able to have housing.
• First years need to be integrated.
• We need to bring our opinion to all of the college’s decisions.
• We need to have a lot of consensus and progress.
• It is about the students.
• Collin: Have you held any New College positions? No NCSA positions. Very active in the interfaith council.
